| This tour explores the enchanting Indonesian island of Bali. We are staying for three nights in a small private hotel in the heart of Ubud, where we will be surrounded by lush green rice paddies and majestic volcanic hills. Day trips from here will include Kintamani volcano and Batur Lake. There will be ample time to take in the scenery and atmosphere, as well as sketch the surrounding environment and visit spice gardens.There is daily tuition and reviews.  |
 From Ubud we travel to Candidasa, situated on the east coast of Bali, where our hotel is located right on the beach. We visit Tirtagangga Water Palace for a morning of sketching and a traditional Balinese lunch. In the afternoon we visit an 11th century temple at Sebatu. Visits to authentic Balinese villages and temples will provide wonderful sketching opportunities. Experience traditional weaving processes in Sideman where we also sketch the rice paddies.
