New Zealand North Island

The Great Northland
Tour Date TBA

New Zealand’s amazing and diverse scenery, friendly people and relaxed way of life provide ideal conditions in which to explore your creativity and develop and apply your artistic skills.

Your comfort and enjoyment are our first priority and we make every effort to ensure your holiday and learning experience is as enjoyable and satisfying as we can make it.

The Northland is sparsely populated and renowned for its stunning coastal views, beautiful beaches, secluded bays, huge sand dunes, lush native forest and semi-tropical climate.

Northland is also the place where Maori and Europeans first decided to settle. Their shared history is evident throughout the region.

The tour starts and ends in Auckland.

There are two sketching stops each day where you will receive individual tuition and a daily group review. A variety of sketching techniques will be demonstrated, including water, clouds, hills, landscapes, perspective and more.

We travel along the ‘Twin Coast Discovery Highway’ tracing the east coast to Cape Reinga. Returning to Auckland we travel south along the west coast.

The tour is at a relaxed pace where you will have free time to explore, wander, do more sketching or just relax and unwind.
